I am interested in attending a 1 or 2 day cookery course somewhere in the UK and wondered if you know anyone who has attended cookery schools that they could recommend. Thanks

If anyone is interested I could do a dinner party themed cookery course/ demonstration at my house in Urmston. I trained at South Trafford and then Hollings College and worked in the industry for 30 years.
I now work in Further Education and have a Certificate of Education, Advanced food hygiene ( and others too numerous to mention) and am CRB checked. Feel free to contact me if interested via the members contact form.

Gillykins - Hopefully someone will come up with a suggestion.
For your info, La Boheme restaurant in Heatley nr. Lymm is doing a cookery demonstration at the end of March - I would prefer hands on myself and get stuck in with the cooking. Have a look at their link. http://www.laboheme.co.uk/events.asp Cost is £35.00 and it includes a meal afterwards. I know there are some chinese restaurants in Manchester city centre that also do classes but not quite what I am after; like you I want dinner party ideas.

You can come to our house & I will show you how to make a proper Yorkshire pudding. Mind you there are only two good things that come out of Yorkshire, one is Yorkshire pudding & the other is the M62 motorway.
