1. I have no control over the 'up-time' of the Urmston.net website but the site is hosted by one of the UK's most popular hosting companies: www.fasthosts.co.uk. Fasthosts provide a very reliable service but they cannot guarantee me 100% up-time so in turn, I cannot guarantee it either.
2. Although the business directory database is backed-up on a regular basis, this is done for disaster recovery purposes only. You are strongly advised to keep a back-up of your keywords and business information as I cannot retore any information that you delete accidentally.
3. The subscription fee is non-refundable.
4. I retain the right to cancel any subscription at any time if I feel that there is a deliberate intention to compromise Urmston.net's values in any way or if the account is being used for any purpose other than to promote a legitimate business. A typical example would be where a business is added with a fairly generic name and summary, such as: Urmston Magazines - we sell magazines and toys, so as to make it through my vetting procedure, but then, after payment is made, it turns out to be a sex shop. Other examples include any business with references (including hyperlinks) of an illegal, racial, sexual or anti-social nature in their directory content.
5. I retain the right to cancel any subscription at any time if I am unhappy with the content in any way. If this occurs, I will issue a full refund of the last subscription payment.
6. I accept no liability for damages or distress caused by misuse of the business contact form.
7. The business detail page is limited to a maximum of 10,000 HTML text characters excluding spaces. As an example, this page contains about 1500 text characters.
8. Profits gained from this service will only be used to improve Urmston.net.

How to proceed
The procedure is as follows.
Click the button to open a new account and enter your business information and a business summary.
Once you have submitted the information I will be notified by e-mail. At this point I will review the information submitted and either approve or reject your application based on the terms and conditions above. Once your account has been approved I will send you an e-mail containing your account username and password. Please allow up to 24 hours for this procedure.
Once you have your login credentials you can access your account and add in some Keywords for the search engine, create your detail page and/or subscribe to the service. Your business will not appear in the business directory until payment has been received so if you wish, you can spend time working on your page and only make the payment once you are ready. Please note that your username and password are generated automatically and there is no option to change them.
Once I receive notification of your payment I will update your account as soon as possible to reflect this and once this has been done your business will appear live in the directory.
