Urmston.net is a hobby of mine which has been growing increasingly popular over the past five years. It is a long-term project so you can be sure that this website is going to be around for as long as I am at least. With this new version of urmston.net I have expanded the website considerably so please bear with me as I continue to add the missing bits. Over the years I have spent hundreds of man-hours working on urmston.net and learning how to build a better website. The effort has finally paid off too as I recently embarked on my third and hopefully final career: I am now making full use of my self-taught web skills to maintain and develop a Global intranet on behalf of the UK Government. Prior to this I had a nine year career in accounts and about the same as an Apple Mac Operator.

In years to come I hope to make urmston.net one of the best local town websites in the country. To achieve this I will continue to develop new features such as the addition of news articles and possibly move the website to a better hosting company such as Nildram.com.
